What a wonderful way to give a gift or save a keepsake from a special occasion. I will take your wine bottle add metallic powder to give it an iridized sparkle to the inside of the bottle, slump it then wrap the neck in copper wire and glass beads for that extra elegance.
You may choose to have your bottle slummed flat with a wire hanger, flat with a handle for serving cheese or in a mold so you can use it as a bowel.
If you have a wine bottle that has a baked on enamel paint for the label the enamel will stay on the bottle as seen in the photo. Some enamels will change color or fade. If the bottle has etching the etching will soften. Some bottles get a soft haze that can not be helped.
Please clean all bottles before you send them to me. All paper or clear labels will need to be removed.
Ther is a slight chance that your bottle may crack or deform. I can not guarantee that all bottles will come out. If this happens I will use one of my stock bottles to replace yours so you will have a beautiful slumped wone bottle no matter what.
At this time I do not handle paper or plastic labels. If you can remove the label before you send it to me you can re-attach the label when you get the bottle back.
This beautiful iridescent slumped olive oil bottle with copper wire and glass beads is spectacular at any table or used for a spoon rest. I use special metallic treatments on the inside of the glass wine bottle to give it that iridescent sparkle. Then I slump them in a mold or flat.
